Full Postnatal Care Package For You and Your Baby

Supporting You Through The Fourth Trimester

From Birth to 4-6 weeks postpartum £1995

Shorter care packages are available / book a free consultation to discuss further

I firmly believe that we don’t only give birth to the baby we also give birth to the mother. It can take time to adjust to your new family dynamic and time to get to know your new family member. During this time, what I call the fourth trimester, individualised, holistic support can make this transition smoother.

My full postnatal care package for you and your baby includes;

One off antenatal visit so you can meet me and I can meet you before postnatal care begins. I can complete an antenatal check if desired (blood pressure, urine dip, map your babies position, measure your baby and listen to their heartbeat, all are optional), and we can discuss birth preparations and preference’s.

During the postnatal period I would offer visits on;

Day 1 - if not already completed I can complete the NIPE (Newborn and Infant Physical Examination) if desired. More information can be found HERE.

Day 2

Day 3

Day 5 - I can offer the Newborn Blood Spot on this day.

Day 7

Each visit will involve a full postnatal check on you and your baby if desired, support with feeding your baby and how to support your nutritional and healing needs. It would include discussions on caring for your baby and yourself postnatally and anything else you can think of. These appointments last between 1-2 hours and will be fully tailored to your needs.

I can monitor your babies weight and offer the Newborn Blood Spot screening on day 5. The NBBS is a screening tool for genetic and metabolic conditions, more information can be found HERE.

I can also offer support with baby wearing and using cloth nappies if wanted. I used cloth nappies with my youngest child and carried them both in slings up until preschool, I have also completed a baby wearing peer support course with slingababy.

I would then offer visits to suit your families needs, up until you feel ready to be discharged from my care. This will look different for everyone so I don’t set a fixed pattern. I would offer visits on or around day 10, 14, 21, 28. However, these are your appointments and you can have them when you want, generally by 6 weeks postpartum you will feel ready to be discharged, there is the option to extend your care though if you wish and this can be discussed.

You will also be able to contact me via text/Whatsapp or call.

I can also support you with signposting to other health professionals such as, Lactation Consultants, Herbalists, Osteopaths, Massage Therapists, Closing The Bones Ceremonies and navigate any follow up appointments you may have with the NHS.

If you are interested in working together and would like a free teams or telephone call to discuss how I could support you please use the contact me page or reach out to me on social media.

Travel within a 30 mile radius of PE28 is covered within my costs anything more than this will need to be discussed.
